This W.A.C. game was good for a second or two but as usual New Mexico State(20-3, 7-0 Conf) was able to skate to the easy win. Shooting 55.9% from the field,as the Aggies did will lead to a lot of wins. They connected on 43.5% of their three's but only 56% of their free throws.

 

Leading the way for NMST was,Zach Lofton(ST. Paul, Mn)34 points, 6 assist and 4 steals.Jemerrio Jones(Memphis,TN) added 10 points and 20 rebounds.

 

For the Vaqueros(12-12, 3-4 Conf) this was another learning experience against a very underrated team. Nick Dixon(Hillside, Ill) had 15 points, while Greg Bowie(SAN ANTONIO, TX) had 14 points and 6 boards. As a team the Vaqueros shot just 33.8%
