Tournament starts tomorrow for the 8 large schools in both 7th and and 8th grades.

 

In the 7th grade bracket: (West #1 Seed) Elliott Co. plays (East #4 Seed) Raceland. (East #2 Seed) Fairview vs. (West #3 Seed) Lewis Co. In the lower bracket (East #1 Seed) McKell Middle plays (West #4 Seed) Bath Co. and (West #2 Seed) West Carter vs. Wurtland Middle.

 

In the 8th grade bracket: (East #1 Seed) Fairview plays (West #4 Seed) Lewis Co. (West #2 Seed) Bath Co. vs. (East #3 Seed) Wurtland Middle. In the lower bracket (West #1 Seed) West Carter plays (East #4 Seed) McKell Middle and (East #2 Seed) Raceland vs. (West #3 Seed) Elliott Co.

 

7th Grade Semis is Feb. 5. The 8th grade Semis is Feb. 6 and both finals are scheduled for Feb. 9.

Yesterday's results form the quarterfinals of the small school tournament at Lewis Co. Middle were:

Fairview Middle 54 Lewis Co. 24

McKell Middle 47 Bath Co. 03

West Carter 40 Wurtland Middle 28

The semi-finals scheduled for tomorrow night at 6:00pm Elliott Co. vs. Fairview and at 7:15pm McKell Middle vs. West Carter

winners will play for the championship on Friday Feb. 9 at 6:00pm.

Bath Co. 60 Wurtland Middle 40

West Carter 56 McKell Middle 38

Elliott Co. 37 Raceland 32

The 8th grade semi-finals are scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 6 at 6:00pm Lewis Co. vs. Bath Co. and at 7:15pm West Carter vs. Elliott Co.

Winners will play for the championship on Friday Feb. 9 at 7:15pm.

Fairview defeated Elliott Co. 46-34

McKell defeated West Carter 54-16

 

Fairview will play McKell in the Championship on Fri. Feb. 9 at 6:00pm.

The 8th grade semis were postponed last night. They have been rescheduled for Friday Feb. 9 at 6:00 and 7:15. The championships have now been rescheduled for Sat. Feb. 10 at 1:00pm for the 7th grade and 2:15 for the 8th grade.

Update on tonight's 8th grade semi-final games it was Bath County defeating Lewis County 48-42 and West Carter defeated Elliott County 47-32.

 

Tomorrows finals in the 7th grade Fairview will play McKell at 1:00pm and Bath Co. will play West Carter in the 8th grade final at 2:15. Good luck to all four teams.

Congrats to our winners this season in the 7th grade final McKell Middle defeated Fairview 54-43. In the 8th grade final West Carter defeated Bath County 59-54.
