St Louis (11-11,4-5 A-10) was red hot in the 2nd half and that was enough to beat a scrappy Dayton(10-11, 4-5 A-10) team. Dayton looks a lot like Cleveland State at times. They are fast and can jump out of the gym, but shooting the baskeball and playing defense seems Greek to them.

For the game the Billikens hit 50% from three point land, but only 43.1% of total from the field. They also hit 80% of their free throws. For Dayton it was 46% from the field and 38.1 from three point land. Free throws was good, with the Flyers hitting 8-9.

Dayton's biggest problem was defense, they simply did not guard anyone for much of the 2nd half, and the Billikens made them pay, especially in the 2nd half.

Leading the winners was,Javon Bess(Columbus, Ohio) with 20 points. Jalen Johnson(Baton Rouge, LA) came off of the bench to chip in with 16 points.Davell Roby(Memphis, Tn) had 14 points.

For Dayton Freshman Jordan Davis(Irmo, SC) and Freshman Jalen Crutcher(Memphis, TN) each had 11 points to lead the way. Sophomore Trey Landers(Dayton, Oh) had 9 boards and 9 points.

Bench play went like this. St Louis used 3 players and got 21 points, while Dayton used 4 players and got 5 points.
