newarkcatholicfan Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 The lady Buckeyes(17-5, 6-3 Big) ended a three game losing streak, with a win over Michigan State(14-8, 4-5 Conf) The Buckeyes used a late 4th quarter run to pull way in this one, as it seemed the Spartans ran out of gas. Leading the Buckeyes with 23 points once again was Kelsey Mitchell(Cincinnati, Ohio)She made 9-15 shots. Linnae Harper(Chicago, Ill) had 22, while,Stephanie Mavunga(Brownsburg, IN)had 20 points. The Buckeyes went five deep off of the bench for a total of 4 points. The Spartans got 16 points from,Jenna Allen(Bedford, IN)Sidney Cooks(Kenosha, WI)added 14. Ohio State shot 50.8% from the field, while the Spartans shot an icy 37.3%.
