doomer Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Mrs. doomer and I attended Mass yesterday, and due to a trip of the regular priest (we have only attended this church for a few years now), there was an interim priest. I will note, that this being a smaller parish, there have been several priests already in our brief time there. I was in agreement with the interim Priest's initial message that we should all love and support one another. However, at the end of his sermon, this Priest took it upon himself to mention that we should support DACA and universal health care. In my opinion, this is taking religion to politics, and frankly, I was pretty upset. I believe people should be introduced to knowledge with the intention and result that they are able to make good choices of their own free will.
