Final-3rd time the Lions & Tomcats meet, 1st win for Lions.

I didn't get to go watch this one or even catch much of it on the radio. It appears from reading the independent article though that Ashland was down 17 in the 3rd quarter but clawed their way back to take a 61-60 lead in the final stanza. Boyd didn't break though and hit some clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the deal.

 

Congrats to Boyd on the win and I'm glad to see that the rivalry seems to be back! It's also nice to see that my Tomcats didn't fold when they were down big. The tournament game(s) should be interesting between these two.
