FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 19, 2018

Longtime corporate partner Roberts Insurance has expanded its involvement with the Association by agreeing to become the presenting sponsor of the Dawahares/KHSAA Hall of Fame. The new agreement will support the KHSAA’s efforts in highlighting the achievements of past student-athletes, coaches, officials and contributors through its Hall of Fame program, which will induct the Class of 2018 on Saturday, April 21 at the Hilton Lexington Downtown.

“Roberts Insurance has long served the member schools and school districts in our Commonwealth on a daily basis. For more than twenty years, Bob Roberts has assisted the KHSAA in a variety of projects and the entire family and their staff are synonymous with quality and service with the utmost concern for the student-athlete as their main goal,” said KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett. “It is fitting that this Kentucky-based company, that is so woven into the fabric of our schools, steps forward to assist with this great project.”

“Our company is deeply rooted in this great Commonwealth, and not only have I enjoyed a life of serving its great citizens, but my family and I are some of the biggest fans of high school sports and the great work of the KHSAA,” said Bob Roberts. “It is a most appropriate partnership and we want to continue being of support for many years to come.”

Roberts Insurance has long partnered with the KHSAA by providing catastrophic insurance coverage for student-athletes participating at each member school. As part of its past corporate involvement, Roberts Insurance has presented a scholarship at the Boys’ Sweet 16® for more than a decade and assisted with Hall of Fame activities such as its golf outing fundraiser for many years.
