I was able to watch this one on line and was glad I was able to stay awake for it. Hawaii,(12-5, 3-1 Conf) at times looked in control and the much better team, then UC Santa Barbara(12-5, 1-2 Conf) would come alive and make this another awesome college basketball game. Hawaii got 18 points from Gibson Johnson( Centerville, UT) he hit 8-9 shots from the field.Brocke Stepteau(Dallas, TX) added 12 points and 5 assist. For the game the Rainbow Warriors made 55.1% of their shots. For the Gauchos hitting just 46.4% of their shots was a big problem in the defeat,coupled with hitting just 60.9% of their foul shots. Leading the way was,Max Heidegger(Malibu, CA) with a game high 22 points.
