Yale (8-9 1-0 Ivy League) open league play with a narrow six point win over Brown(7-7 0-1 Ivy League)The win for the Bulldogs was the seventh in a row over the Bears.

 

Yale had a double digit lead for a lot of the first half, but Brown would get back to within five by halftime. Leading the Bulldogs with 23 points was,Trey Phills(Charlotte, NC) He would add seven boards and five assist on the night also. Miye Oni(Porter Ranch, CA) had 17 points.

 

For the Bears Brandon Anderson(Mahwah, NJ) had 22 points, while Desmond Cambridge(Nashville, Tn) chipped in with 15 points.

 

Brown as a team came in hitting about 75% from the free throw line, only connected on 58.1% tonight.
