swamprat Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 On the night the Av retire Milan Heiduk's number, they hang 7 on Minnesota. There was an interest play where Alexander Kerfoot interfered with Wild goalie, Devan Dubnyk. Dubnyk proceed to jump on top of Kerfoot and start punching him in the head. Kerfoot was sent to the penalty box for the interference. The goalie cannot be sent to the penalty box. Instead the captain of the opposing team selects the player that must spend time in the penalty box. Dubnyk was assessed 2 penalties for roughing. Therefore, 2 Wild players went to the penalty box resulting in a 4 on 3 power play for Denver. 15 or 20 second into the power play, Denver scored and Dubnyk was pulled by Minnesota.
