Owsley County senior Macie Gibson scored 42 points tonight in a 69-52 win over Lee County and set the all time career scoring record for girls basketball for the Lady Owls. She now has 2,783 career points. The record had been held since 2005 by Austin McIntosh, who scored 2,781 points.

Gibson is a 6’ forward who has committed to Murray State.

Congratulations to this young lady on a great achievement!
