Reflecting on your own 2017

Featured Replies

For me it was rough at times as far as health goes.

Problem one was waking up and not being able to hear. I think that lasted a few weeks.

Then there was the bleeding out of my backside, that one sent me to the hospital. 6,000 dollars later things were back to normal.

The year ended with some kind of nerve damage that along with some major bad pain, made it very difficult to walk. The pain is gone but I still have no strength in my left leg. It also kept me from going to Indiana for football and kept me home from a game in W.Va. that I wanted to go to.

On the bright side of things I got to see Lakewood Lancers softball team win another state title.

I went to 71 high school football games(Including one Freshman game, that started before the varsity game.) I got to hang out with a good friend in Cleveland, Ky and Pa. all while watching football games.

I made two new football friends and was able to see a couple games with them.

Not because I quit, but I went through the year without drinking. Just have not had the urge.

I stayed true to myself and did not date, which means no relation ship.

My daughter and I, are still keeping in touch with each other and that is as awesome as it gets.

The best part of this selfish post, is for the fourth year in a row I have been able to use the words happy in life and not just content with things.

Hopefully 2018 brings more happiness, not only to me but all of you.
