The South Oldham Lady Dragons (5-3) host the Lady Rockets of Shelby County (1-5) in Crestwood.

South will try to rebound after a heartbreaking 64-59 loss last night to Fern Creek. Shelby is trying to halt a five game losing streak.

South won last year's meeting, 57-48.

Shelby has won 11 of the past 14 meetings between the two schools. Six of the fourteen games were decided by four or fewer points (three by just one point).

Gene Heffington is in his third season at South and can get his overall record at the school to .500 with a win. He is currently 32-33. Last year's South team went 20-10 under his watch.

J. Bruce Blanton is in his first season at Shelby.

South averages 62.6 ppg and gives up 50.8

Shelby averages 42.3 ppg and allows 53.8
