Realreason
Game wasn't as close as the score. Central led by 10 to 12 most of the game and Cozart didn't play the 2nd half after taking a hard fall at the beginning of the 3rd qtr. Really should have won by 15 or more, Central missed a lot of easy opportunities and really didn't play that well at all. A win is a win and we move on to Saturday. Madison Central has a good looking team. I hadn't seen them play before last night. Cozart is something else when it comes to blocking shots. I hope the kid isn't hurt badly. He looked like he was okay when he left the game. I can't say if Central played poorly or not, but I can say Collins didn't play all that well. I think Feltner had 26 and played well, but several of Collin's other players didn't shoot as well as they normally do. They spent the first half trying to score the ball down low against Cozart, which made no sense to me. I think the kid probably blocked 8 or 9 shots before getting hurt. Collins has some very talented guards and should have played more to their strength instead of pushing the ball inside like they did. I also didn't think the officiating was very good. Collins didn't get into the bonus in either half. I watched the local Richmond broadcast of the game after we got home from watching it live at Madison Central and the local announcers even said they thought officiating was pretty one sided. That being said, Central is very good and deserved the win. Edited December 13, 2017 by cosmosfactory

Feltner defiantly kept them in the game, and no doubt the kid can stroke it from deep. I did notice the foul discrepancy as well. We will take the win against a team that looks like it will be in the fight for the 8th. Its always good to play a good out of region team. Cozart should be alright, fell on the same hip a game or 2 ago and was very sore I think. Edited December 13, 2017 by Realreason addition
