Last season this game saw both teams scoring over 100 points, with Central Michigan posting the road win. This time around the game was never close nor was it very exciting. Central Michigan(7-1) struck early and often as then ran to a 17 point lead and then cruised to the easy win.

Leading the way was Kevin McKay(Warren, Mich) with 17 points off of the bench. He hit 8-14 from the field.Cecil Williams(Columbia, MO) and Shawn Roundtree(Edwardsville, IL) contributed 14 each in the win.

For Montana State((6-4) Harald Frey(Oslo, Norway) had 14 points off of the bench to lead the way.

Montana State only hit 28>8% of their shots, while Central Michigan hit on 47.5%.
