Maine(1-5) Les by 26 at one point and then held on for dear life,to post their first win of the season.

 

Leading the Black Bears with 20 was Vernon Lowndes Jr.(Charleston, SC). He came off of the bench to connect on all seven of his shots from the field and all five of his free throws. He also had a team high nine boards.Aaron Calixte(Stoughton, MA) chipped in with 18 points.

 

For the Bobcats(1-5) the slow start combined with the hot shooting of the Black Bears, who coming in was the worse shooting team in all of D-1, was to much to overcome.Andrew Robinson(Takoma Park, MD)came off of the bench to score a team high 17.Alain Chigha(Yaounde, Cameroon) had 7 steals, 6 rebounds and 7 points. He might be one of the hardest working players in the country, but one most will never notice.
