UMBC (2-3) Trailed early but then their offense took off along with some cold shooting from Chicago State(2-5) and this one was never in doubt.

Chicago State shot did hit 51.8 % for the game,. from the field but only hit 3 of 8 from the three point line. The biggest problem for C-State was they had 23 turnovers.

Leading them in defeat was Glen Burns(West Memphis, AR) with 15 points.

UMBC was led by Joe Sherburne(Whitefish Bay, Wi)with 19 points off of the bench.
