Most expected the Scotties (9-3) to be here. But, Monroe County? Not so much. At the beginning of the year, a Glasgow/NewCath regional final seemed likely, but NewCath's up and down season landed them a 2nd round exit in Glasgow. The Falcons (9-3) made a long drive to NKY and pulled the upset over Lloyd to earn their spot in this regional championship game.

These district foes met in the regular season, with Glasgow winning handily, 45-21.
