November 5, 20178 yr Strong/Gilbert allowed Q to be Q, yesterday, and the result was Quinton Flowers setting a new school record with 516 yards of total offense. Q was 24/37 for 385 yards, 3 TDs. and 1 int. He also had 16 rushes for 131 yards. Gilbert had the WRs running post routes, utilizing the TEs, and Charlie was letting him do it. They hold their fate in their hands. I still don't think these guys can get by UCF, though. Still a great season.
November 5, 20178 yr Author Left out a stat. Quinton Flowers joined Lamar Jackson becoming the seventh player in FBS history with 7000 yards rushing and 3000 yards passing for their careers. Lamar became the sixth to do it, against BC, a few weeks ago.
