Southwestern finished 8-2, holding off Lexington Catholic 53-47.

Perry County Central finished 7-3 beating Prestonsburg 28-18.

It is Perry County Central’s first playoff appearance since 2014, a first round loss to Southwestern 0-42.

Southwestern hasn’t lost a first round playoff game since 2010 (0-45 to Whitley County), the Warriors did miss the playoffs in 2012 & 2013.
