Mayfield's strikes 1st on 3 plays on it's 1st possession to go up 7-0 with 9:34 to go in 1st quarter.. Webster got the ball 1st and went 3 and out on it's 1st possession..

After another 3 and out for the Trojans, Mayfield gets good field possession and scores again to go up 14-0 with just over 7 minutes left in 1st qtr..

Webster fumbles on its next possession and the Cards get the ball at the Trojan 18 yard line and they score on the next play on an 18 yard run by Trey Matthews to go up 21-0 with 5 minutes to go in 1st qtr..

End of 1st quarter Mayfield up 28-0

Mayfield now up 42-0 with 6 minutes left in 2nd qtr... Running clock from here out.. I expect JV to take over from here out..

49-0 at halftime.. Mayfield's offense has run a total of 7 offensive plays in the whole 1st half.. They've scored twice on punt returns and once on a pic 6 and 4 scores on 7 offensive plays.. Pretty efficient, I'd say, but, in all fairness, Webster's a bad team to say the least.. The freshmen should get plenty of action in the 2nd half..
