Coach John Myers Russellville squad got a key Rgn.1, Dist.2 victory tonight and improved to 5-1 on the season..This win should make them the team to beat with there only real challenge coming up in 2 weeks vs Metcalfe Co..This team has some very good skilled players and I fully expect to see them in Round 3 of the playoffs facing off with Coach Myers old buddies of Mayfield...And if they do, they'll probably be sporting an 11-1 record.. That one would be worth seeing..

Always a tough district trip to make when you have to make the three day trip to Hancock County. That's one of the reasons why they bypassed 2A to play up in 3A next year. Quality win for Russellville.

WoW, I thought Hancock was better than this, I kind of thought Hancock was a sleeper team in Dist. 2 but Russellville seems to be the real deal. Anybody have the stats of this game?
