How Does Unexpected Weather Affect Teams/Coaches?

With many schools preparing to play Friday night, only to find impending weather has moved games to Thursday, how does that affect preparation? Do you try to squeeze your typical Wednesday/Thursday practice into one day? Do you keep the kids longer on Wednesday? Do you just say no walk-through (or whatever your normal Thursday consists of)? I know coaches and players are creatures of habit but the late schedule changes, especially pushing games forward instead of back makes for an unusual week.
