6A Scrimmage compared to the 1st Game

Featured Replies

Does anyone think the scrimmage result is telling of how the rest of the season will play out? The majority of the 6A teams to lose their scrimmage came back and won in week 0.

You want to challenge your team with a good opponent. I am sure Male learned a great deal playing Bowling Green.

In Ryle's case, they scheduled two very good teams to scrimmage and open their season against. We'll see how well they progress into district play and beyond.

I do not like jamboree style with three teams taking turns running a set number of plays.

I feel the "three quarters-regular game" format for a scrimmage is most effective.

So, strength of competition and style of scrimmage can be big factors in how well a team plays in their first regular season game.

Campbell County won won

Ryle has learned tons from our two games. Adjustments are being made scheme and personel wise. The kids play hard we need to give them their best opportunity to be successful.

I think ST.X scrimmaging Simon Kenton helped them prepare for Cathedral. Wouldn't have got anything from scrimmaging a cupcake.

It was hard to find these scrimmage results. If the fans could post them, that'd be appreciated.
