Dior Curtis has been named new boys varsity coach at Murray High. Coach Dior, as he is referred to by most, has been an assistant under the last three coaches and was named interim shortly after Coach Fleener left to become Superintendent at Russellville. It was widely assumed he was get the permanent title but was held up due to Murray Independent Schools changing superintendents July 1st. He is a Murray State graduate and I believe landed in Murray after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina. A fine young man that has the support of most all players, parents and fans. Calloway should name a new head coach soon to complete the three 4th district head coaching vacancies after the 2016/17 season.
