Shelby will return 1400 yard rusher Caleb Morehead. He will be joined by backup QB Collin O'Hare who earned a lot of experience last year along with returning RB Kyion Stone, William Davis and Jose Carris. All these players received significant playing time last year.

O'Hare had a great spring throwing the football. Shelby must develop a "keep them honest" passing game so teams will not be stacking the box. 7-7 will be key to development prior to season.

The lines must be rebuilt as a unit.

The loss of kicker Josh Edwards creates a huge hole that must be filled.

The D might have a different look with new D. Coordinator Alex Mathews.

Shelby has make it to the state semi's and regional final while going 23-4.

Shelby will scrimmage Oldham at home and then open with Fairdale in the king of the bluegrass bowl. I see no reason the can't be back as a district and regional contender this year. A sure bet to preseason top 10.
