Clark hits two dingers, one a grandslam and overpowers Brossart despite 2 homers and 3 RBIs by Bracke (?). Was impressed with GRC that was very sound defensively. Brossart had a tough night in the field with probably 4/5 throwing errors.

Interesting play right before Clark's grandslam. Bases loaded for GRC with high popup that pitcher staggers under, falls backwards and ball falls untouched about 3 feet fair apparently plating at least one run. Should have been 3rd out with no damage done. As runners are advancing, ball spins into foul territory about 30 feet from home. Ump correctly calls it foul. Everybody has that ....are you seeing what I just saw look of shock. Batter fouls off next pitch and then hits grandslam.

Yeah. Jake Ware worked I would say a 15 pitch at bat then hit the grand slam that pretty much put the game away. Brossart was in a tough predicament there. They intentionally walked Walton to get to Ware. Tough decision when you have two bats that are more than capable of going deep.
