UK senior Caroline McCaslin (Assumption '12) narrowly missed qualifying for Nationals Friday in the 3,000 M Steeplechase. She qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the event three times.

 

She ends her career ranked #2 all-time at UK in the event, and placed 4th at this year's SEC Championship.

 

Prior to UK, she competed for Elon U. and was the 2013 Southern Conference Steeplechase champion.

 

While at Assumption, Caroline was a member of three State title Cross Country and Track teams. All-State and Acedemic All State performer. Two-time KHSAA state champion in the 4x800 M Relay. 2012 4x800 squad holds the Kentucky All-class state record.
