LA won't be ready in time, so Super Bowl LV comes to Tampa Bay.

 

$150 million in renovations to Raymond James and the success of the College Football National Championship Game had a lot to do with it. Tampa's downtown rejuvenation, lead by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik played apart.

 

The fact that the CEO of the NFL Tod Leiweke was CEO of the Lightning, before taking that job, had nothing to do with it.
