NewCath So. pitcher Riley McDermott goes 3 innings in her 1st career varsity start and does an excellent job, but the Breds could only give her a single run despite a triple and 2 doubles over the course of those 3 innings. Haley Meyers throws the next 3 innings and gives up only one hit that produces the 4th run for the Jags, albeit following a 2-out error that prolongs the inning.

For those that haven't seen Cooper Fr. shortstop Kayari Suganuma play.......she's worth the price of admission. She made a play in the 6-hole that was ESPN WebGem material. Before the game I told the girls hit it anywhere but shortstop, 2.0 made the mistake of hitting 2 of them at her. :no:
