Ludlow's freshman pitcher Bella Slone got the win for the Panthers....

 

She also capped off a 3-4 day at the plate with the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th....

 

This was a fun game to watch as both teams made some fine defensive plays... also, both pitchers were solid. I don't think the pitcher for Calvary walked a single batter.

Looks like she's gonna be a good one... I noticed there are several really young players contributing to their Varsity Softball teams in the NKY area... 8th graders and freshman... pretty cool to see.
