OPEN JOBS / FILLED JOBS - 2017

Can one of the moderators put this as a sticky?

With teams being eliminated some jobs have opened or will be in the coming days. Russellville coach Phil Todd has announced his retirement at seasons end. We can start there with official openings not rumors.

OPEN JOBS

1.) Russellville

FILLED JOBS

1.)

I am aware of two coaches in the Seventh Region who have announced they are not returning, both at small schools that have had very good seasons for their level

. First, I have heard that Shannon Weaver is not returning as Louisville Collegiate's coach. It is my understanding that, when he accepted the job, he made it clear he was only going to coach for one year. It is also my understanding that it may be a done deal for an assistant to be moving up. Collegiate ended up 18-13 this year.

Second, Richard Butcher is not returning at the head coach at St. Francis, as he is returning to his native San Diego. St. Francis has won 17 games and will have the first winning season in school history. They lose an outstanding player in James Risley, but he is the only contributor they lose and some of the returning players are pretty talented.
