I think because Raceland is where the district tournament is this year and the schools wanted to get used to the gym and play in a tournament where there would be a lot of all the fans according to Raceland's ad. I think they usually have 4 in region teams and 4 out of region teams but they changed it up this year due to the district tournament being at Raceland.
