Fern Creek had 4 scorers in double figures...Moore 19, Rogers 15, Wales 14, & Price 10. Rested starters in 4th for the big match-up with Doss on Friday. Iroquois had many new players and looks to improve on their win total from last season. Coach Morrow is a very good coach, but still not the talent he has had in the past.

I know FC rested guys but closer then I would have thought, maybe Iroquios is a better this year. I know they were young at the end of last season.

Iroquois is better this year, and they are pretty loaded with Juniors on the team who took their medicine last year playing young. The leading scorer was a senior, Damon Richardson, who was not even on the roster last season and he is very quick. Fern Creek was up 30+ early in 4th quarter when they brought most of the team out and several starters logged about 20 minutes for the game. I think it was what you want for a first game for both teams, but the final score was closer than many had thought based on Iroquois last year results.
