Bardstown 58 Western Hills 36

Featured Replies

Score is somewhat deceptive. Bardstown's defense was excellent early and held WestHi in check while building a 37-7 lead.

Western Hills began force-feeding Robinson after that and he ended up with 25 carries for 328 yards and 4 TDs on the ground. All but 52 yards of that came after Bardstown went up 37-7. Wolverines never got closer than 3 scores after that.

Big night for Bardstown seniors:

Jeshurun Obeng 13-90 yards 2TDs rushing

Tariq Armour 15-216 yards 3TDs rushing + 30yd TD catch

De'Ondre Boggs 1 rush TD, 1 rec TD (also had a punt return TD called back(.

Among Armour's scores was an electrifying 94-yard dash up the left sidelines, aided by some excellent blocking all the way down the field. The TD came on — and I am not kidding — a third-and-74 play. Two sacks and three penalties marched the Tigers back from the WH 30 to their own 6 to set up the play.

I believe I told hearsay in the opening thread Robinson would get 3 to 4 TD'S, looks like I was right 25 Carries for 328 YDS and 4 TD'S.

Yes, you were right, but it was 37-7 midway through the 3rd and Robinson had only 68 yards at halftime. The Tigers put it on cruise control after that and he did burn them.

He's a very talented young man.

He is indeed, especially for a sophomore.
