I heard a fella last night keep saying "lying in the weeds". He seems to think the Birds may make some noise in the playoffs. Here's hopin!

 

We can only hope. After watching last night and seeing them play 91 he's a great addition to the defense hopefully he will remain a permanent fixture. I think we still need some adjustments but I think they are getting it.

Kudos to Boone's Brandon Morgan for running tough and scoring down on the goal line several times. Those are the hardest 3 yards to gain. The kid just produces. He also got a pic 6 at the end of the first half on an ill-advised shovel pass on a broken play.

 

This happened right in front of us. Impressive play. His eyes looked like saucers when he made the pick and saw the goal line that close.
