SEC vs ACC

Recommended Posts

Okay, here is the same exercise, using TODAY'S standings, with my approximate spreads in parentheses. All games played neutrally.

1. Alabama vs Clemson (Alabama -4.5)

2. Texas A&M vs Louisville (Louisville -3.5)

3. Florida vs North Carolina (Florida -2)

4. Auburn vs Pittsburgh (Auburn -9)

5. LSU vs Virginia Tech (LSU -11.5)

6. Tennessee vs Florida State (Florida State -4.5)

7. Kentucky vs Wake Forest (Wake -6)

8. Georgia vs NC State (NC State -1.5)

9. Arkansas vs Virginia (Arkansas -12)

10. Ole Miss vs Miami (FL) (Ole Miss -3)

11. Mississippi State vs Syracuse (Mississippi State -5.5)

12. Vanderbilt vs Georgia Tech (Georgia Tech -3)

13. South Carolina vs Boston College (South Carolina -4)

14. Missouri vs Duke (Missouri -4)

Have fun.

I would bet a bit of money to parlay Syracuse and Duke winning outright with those spreads. Similarly, on a neutral field I would need quite a few more points to even consider taking Clemson. Also I know this is based on standings but I would Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Miami over quite a few teams ahead of them. Otherwise, I tend to agree with your spreads.
