For more than 40 years, the team at Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing Company has been dedicated to serving the Walton, KY community. If you need a plumber you can depend on, they’re the ones for the job. Handling a wide range of residential plumbing issues, they strive to treat their clients like neighbors, because that’s exactly what they are.

It’s also why they’re sponsoring the first annual “Battle of the Pink Pipe Wrench” football game this year, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will be held on Friday, October 7, at 7:30 p.m. The Ryle Raiders and Cooper Jaguars will face off against one another at Ryle High School—each team will receive $500.00, courtesy of the plumbing crew at Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing Company, to donate to a charity of their choice.

Joe Lay & Sons The trusted local plumber has also donated Battle of the Pink Pipe Wrench T-shirts to help raise interest in the event. The first 225 students through the gate will get one free of charge.

Even if you don’t make it in time to grab your T-shirt, the plumbing crew still encourages everyone who can to wear pink to the game, as a show of unity. Though two teams may be challenging each other on the field, off the field, they want everyone to know that they’re all on the same team in the fight against breast cancer.

Though this is the first year the event is being held, it’s by no means the first time this local plumber has shown dedication to the community. For decades, the pros at Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing Company, in Walton, KY, have made sure they deliver nothing less than the best possible service to their clients.
