This game was very physical from the beginning. Saw a few yellows, and there should have even been a red. #5 for MC was very physical but also was dirty. Pushing players over and swiping at them when he lost the ball. Completely reckless and the ref didn't control him.

 

HHS started the game weak leaving MC two breakaways but couldn't capitalize on it. Paul Tully made a few good saves and really kept the birds in it in the first half. Two nicely worked goals from Mills and Ginter had HHS eyeing another victory for the 10th in a row. A third could have easily been capitalized on by Ginter who was played through by Dolezal but skied it over.

 

Second half, MC scored off of a corner in around two minutes. After that, it was all HHS. They possessed the ball through their mids and their wingers played nice balls in. Again, Gish and Dolezal scored off of their short corner tactic. Another chance came from Dolezal who carried the ball forward and outpaced three MC boys who later took him down in the penalty area. A nice PK but an even better save.

 

This 10th win in a row, but overall (13-1-2), should give HHS a nice boost of confidence heading down to La Salle Thursday night.

Not sure if #5 is the same player from last year, but that is the same definition of the matches last year.......... not going to do it on here, but the "d" word is appropriate to use from last year.
