4A #10 Mercer County vs. Marion County

Well, it wasn't the best of times last week as Mercer County came to earth in a 47-23 loss to Wayne County. They're 2-3 on the year, but the other two losses were also to high caliber opponents (Central Hardin and Southwestern), both of which were positive performances. That earns them the good will to hang on in the top 10, and they host Marion County, which dropped their fourth straight in a 47-18 loss to North Bullitt. Last season Mercer rolled to a 41-8 victory over the Knights that went on to go winless. With 1 win in their last 16 games, can we expect Marion to compete?
