It was good to see senior setter DeAndrea Atwood back. Although under the weather still performed great. Sophomore Katie Reeves had about 30 digs and senior Lauren Watts had 13 blocks. Simon Kenton talks really well on the floor and hustle after every ball.

The CHS defense had a very solid game last night. Katie Reeves was struggling a bit last week but seemed back to her usual form last night. With strong passing on serve recieve and defense Deandra Atwood was able to put up some really nice sets. All of the hitters were able benefit from that and were able to hit well. Cali Helinski was finally able to put some power into her swings as Deandra was able to set balls to the pins. Lauryn was definitely frustrating Simon Kenton's middle blockers. It was a well coordinated effort by all of the Cougars.

Those 13 blocks were Lauren's alone. She was fierce for sure!
