These two teams squared off in Richmond last night & the game ended in a 0-0 tie. Any other details?

Madison Central-lexcath, the game was all Madison Central , 28 shots on goal and they couldn't get any luck from the soccer gods, lex - cath maybe 5 shots. Lex-cath packed the back the whole 2nd half playing for the tie and the Indians had some awesome shots in the second half, probably 15 but they couldn't find back of net. Central Defense did there job again but offense couldn't connect. The coming weekend should be exiting for Central with South Warren and Bowling Green .

That is a VERY high number of shots on goal, is it possible that this was just the total amount of shots taken?

Order larger goals.

I have a bit of a problem believing MC had 28 legit shots ON GOAL but weren't able to convert one.

Maybe its accurate, I wasn't there. But I've heard many fans over the years describe a shot on goal as basically any ball the rolls toward goal, which many are simply and easily scooped up by the keeper. IMO those are not shots on goal, I define those as unforced turnovers.

If MC did have a legit 28 shots ON GOAL but didn't put one in the back of the net, it just may be a long season for the Indians, just saying.

Correction on the shots taken for Madison Central , 20 shots taken and 16 shots ON goal. Lex Cath keeper made a few really nice stops.
