5A #10 Greenwood vs. 4A Warren East

Warren East is struggling, while the Greenwood Gators seem to be building a solid program. An exciting program that has a ton of potential at that. All signs point to a Greenwood victory, the Gators edged the Raiders 42-12 last season. Will this seasons edition be closer game, or more of the same?

I could see more of the same. While Greenwood didn't look great in their scrimmage, they didn't look bad either.

Greenwood is on the rise. They're no pushover anymore. The problem is that Bowling Green and South Warren will be in the same district with the Gators next year. That's going to be tough district.

I completely agree about Greenwood being on the rise. I really believe they could surprise some people this season. That said, at the moment it's next to impossible for them to win their district. Not to mention with South Warren coming up next year that kinda tempers future expectations, IMO. But you never know what could happen, South Warren made a quick rise in 4A, Greenwood could do the same in 5A. There is a lot of talent in that area, it should be a fun district to watch over the next several years.
