The varsity portion of the scrimmage ended at 28-28. Hoptown has several great athletes, especially the QB and receiver. OHS won the trenches and Hoptown won the speed matchup. I do believe Hoptowns 1st unit came out to open the 2nd half, but OHS stopped them and then put their JV in. In the JV portion, OHS won 14-0 behind the great play of sophomore qb Zeke Brown. The freshmen part ended 8-6 in favor of OHS with OHS freshman Monte Owsley scoring his first high school td.

I didn't make it to the scrimmage until it was 21-14 Hoptown so I missed quite a bit of the action. I think tiger fans are going to be in for a treat this year. OHS' defense will get better as they're playing 9 new faces this year. Good, solid scrimmage for both teams and I look for both squads to make some noise this year
