June 23, 201610 yr I know all motorcyclist are familiar with The Dragons Tail in Tennessee with it's 300+ turns in 11 miles. Well there is a new place you can enjoy and a lot closer to home, "The Rattlesnake" which runs on highway 192 from Somerset to London. At 11 miles long and around 150 turns it may be a bit tamer than the Dragon but should be just as enjoyable. I drove about a third of the Rattlesnake trail last night and we saw about 50 deer in the fields along the roads and a few turkeys. Some bear have been spotted in that area as well, but I've not spotted one yet.
June 23, 201610 yr Author If you come down on the 4th Saturday of the Month from April to November you can also enjoy the Somernites Cruise held downtown Somerset, which draws from 700-1400 cars each month. You could ride the Rattler in the morning and enjoy the cars downtown that afternoon.
