May 12, 201610 yr Today's severe weather doesn't look to be a severe as what we've seen for the past couple of days. Western KY and the counties along the Tennessee border looks to be the areas that could see strong to severe storms during the early afternoon hours. The threat then seems to move up to the Owensboro, Southern Indiana, Louisville area by mid afternoon. The time period I'm talking about is between 2-5 pm EDT Around this time I expect a line of strong to severe storms to start to form a move eastward across Kentucky. The main threats look to be damaging winds and hail. The entire state is in a Marginal Risk Area by the Storm Prediction Center.
May 12, 201610 yr Author The threat level has increased for some along the KY/TN border. From about Bowling Green back westward.
