Not attractive. No interest in becoming a teacher like her parents wanted her to. Bolted for Austin then California. Was thrilled with her success but always felt a bit sad that she never felt like her parents approved and were happy for her. Seems like a good person with some issues. Died a few weeks before "Bobbie Magee" was released.

So sad that it all ended for her so young, and though terribly lonely she had a spirit that never wanted it to end like that. She'd be 73 if still alive, and all the what if's spark thoughts of what could have been. Watching this movie also made me think that in 3 short years Woodstock will be turning 50 and that in itself blows my mind. I was only 5 at the time, but grew up envious of an era that I missed for being too young, but thankfully so as with the way the time is swiftly passing I'm feeling old enough as it is, and those who were there and are now in their 70's must be freaking about where the time has gone even more than I am.
