Game two of the Doc Morris at Dixie Heights brought together a good pitching match up between Brad Suedkamp ( Dixie ) and Canter. Suedkamp overcame an early 1st inning two run HR by Graves and settled in for 4 solid innings. Suedkamp exited after 4 2/3 and 10 Ks.

Middle reliever Noah Smedley, got the Colonels out of a bases loaded jam to retire the Crusaders in the 4th inning. Moeller pulled away in the last three innings plating three runs per inning.

Moeller was led by Swanger with 3 hits, 3 RBIs and McDonough with 2 hits. Canter and Bault combined for a total of 8 Ks for the Crusaders.

Junior Cameron Barrett led the Colonels with 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

Another great evening for baseball region wide. The Doc Morris continues tomorrow at Dixie Heights 11am...

That would have been a nice game to watch. Thanks for the recap.
