March 25, 201610 yr Part of the mission statement at BluegrassPreps is to provide an online forum for individuals to share news and views. Equally, part of our mission is for that place to be enjoyable and thought-provoking. As of late some of our forums – particularly the politics and controversial issues forums – have been developing into a more hostile environment, and thereby have lost much of their enjoyable and thought-provoking aspects. The intent of this post is to notify members posting in these threads that BGP will be tightening up on the rules in order to bring an end to the constant barrage of juvenile bickering, put-downs, baiting, and insulting that has become all too common in those forums. Violations, Suspensions, and/or Vacations from a specific forum will be handed down to users who choose not to conduct themselves in a more civil manner.
