This one is confusing.

 

Bourbon takes a 3-0 lead in the first, both teams push across 1 run in the 4th making it 4-1 Bourbon, Estill plates 1 in the 5 making it 4-2, Estill plates 3 in the 6th to make it 5-4 Estill, Bourbon plates 2 in the 7th to make it 6-5 Bourbon, Estill goes down in order in the bottom of the 7th and instead of being game over, they go to 8 innings, Bourbon plates another run making it 7-5 Bourbon, Estill goes down in order.

 

Did KHSAA up the innings?

What actually happened was poor officials. In the first Bourbon only scored 2 runs not 3. Bases loaded ground ball to short they called runner out at second but never make him leave the bag. Kid eventually crosses plate. Official book had him out at second but officials removed the third run which was correct but did not let anyone else know. So game was actually tied at 5 and Bourbon scored 1 in the 8th. So final score was 6-5.

I got confused cause I was keeping up with the game on gamechanger because I work late and seen that. From the look of things it looked like it was a pretty good game

No errors for Estill but Bourbon had 3 in one inning to let Estill take the lead. Bourbon scored 2 to tie it up and then 1 to take the lead and win.
